Charity finds

I have to admit that I've never been a great lover of charity shops. I know that people find some fantastic stuff in there sometimes for pennies, and the proceeds are going to a good cause but I've never really had the urge to have a good browse in them. Yesterday though my mum and sister said they where going to town to have a browse through the charity shops and I decided to go with them.

Two new ring purchases :) These aren't from a charity shop, they are from New Look and Primark. I'm trying not to spend as much money on clothes and things atm, so I deliberatley restricted myself to Primark and the charity shops so that if I saw anything I really liked I wouldn't be spending too much :) I have been after the gold bird ring for a while after seeing it on numerous other blogs and falling in love with it. I have an obsession with jewellery or prints with birds on them I think they're really cute.

Flower ring from New Look £2.50 Couldn't resist this one either :) I love anything floral print and I thought this ring would look good in the summer

Floral bangles from Primark £2-£3

Earrings from New Look £4. I thought these would look sweet in the
summer with my ring so couldn't resist

New shoes from store twenty one.
I've never really been in before but I love the floral pattern on these.
Shoes £6

Don't ask me why I decided to do a feet in the air shot, I just randomly decided to
try and see what they looked like :)

I love the floral print. I think they will look sweet with
leggings and oversized top or pair of shorts :)

Butterfly belt £3 from Primark. I love this, and I was quiet surprised to find it actually fitted around my waist as I'm quiet small so I can't usually wear them. I have a few butterfly belts from River Island that I love but they where £20 so to get this one for £3 = big smiles :D
Apologies for a photo heavy post I think I was just in a snap happy mood :)

And finally....My charity shop finds :) If you have read previous blog posts you know that Im always on the look out for pretty vintage-y/shabby chic pieces for my room so I was happy to find these for 50p and a £1. I love the little bits you find but they can be quite expensive in some high street stores. Its a bit hit and miss in there for pretty shabby chic items but sometimes you can find some great things

I love the cream vintagey look to the left one and the pastel-y floral
detailing on the second

These are the books that I picked up. The one on the left was 20p :) and the others were a £1 each.
I was quite surprised to find the amount of chic lit books in there that I did. A lot of them were ones that I've picked up idly in bookstores but haven't brought them as they are quiet expensive and I wasnt sure If I would enjoy them and get bored half way through, so it seemed like a waste.

Charity shop convert?....quiet possibly! :)

It's my day off today, so I'm having the perfect lazy day off work, sat on the sofa watching Bridget Jones Diary and scoffing chocolate raisons :o (£2.99 for a massive cup of them yum) and texting my friend because he makes me laugh :)
The new primark opened in town yesterday so me, my mum and my sister went down to have a look. I'm not a primark fan to be honest, never have been, but it looked pretty good and I know people can get some nice things in there so I thought it might be worth having a look. We went down quite late, but it was still heaving (apparently the que when they opened was over 300 people long :| ) I didn't really bother looking at the womens section because it was so rammed, but my little sister got some really nice stuff from the childrens department. This is what I got.

They had so much jewellery on display and its so cheap!
Which is good because jewellery is definatley my weakness

I love these clips they are so pretty :) I think I'll see these if
I accidently drop them on the floor, as the darker ones are harder to spot!

I don't need any more flower rings but they are so pretty
and at £1.50 who can resist?

Hair elastics. Not the most exciting, but I prefer the
neutral ones and the elastics gone in the one, and I lost the other one
in the pool at Alton Towers, so these are perfect and they were only a £1

I have butterfly earrings as well but I couldn't get a good photo of those so I gave up in the end. I don't think I'm a converted primark shopper, but they do make pretty accessories :)

Just wanted to say thank you to my new followers, and for the lovely comments you leave me, I love reading them :)

Candles & cold

Its been so cold lately and as christmas is on its way it gets dark mega early. Its rubbish coming out of work when its cold and dark but only 5 in the evening, but its lovely coming home to a nice warm house, and snuggling up. I lit a few candles the other day and although I had to concede defeat and eventually switch the light on as I couldn't see what I was doing, they made my room feel all christmassey :)

Excuse the odd looking coasters, my mum said the candles might
mark the furniture and annoyingly she is nearly always prooved to be right

I braved the cold and went out for a drink with my friend then later. It gave me a chance to wear my new skirt, which is from the childrens department in Next :) I know its meant to be for little girls, but it was so pretty and it was calling to me (plus it cost less than an adults would :) result )

Not the greatest of photos sorry! my camera needs charging and I havent got round to it yet
so this was taken on my phone. Also I hate having my photo taken, so I hate posing for the camera. How young do I look, bless me? You would never guess that I was 22. (although I didn't get asked for ID in spoons for once yay! If I forget it I know they would have asked)

The jewellery I wore

Excuse the cut on the back of my hand.
I don't know how I got it :'( just woke up and it was randomly there
I had my new jacket to keep me nice and warm although I still ended up taking my friends off him and wearing that as well :)

I might brave the cold and go to town later because primark is opening today and it looked pretty good when I walked past yesterday. I took my sister to school this morning and I'm only just thawing out an hour and half later :'(
