DIY Business Cards

These little handmade business cards are something that my aunty suggested I made when I was talking to her last week. She owns her own gorgeous vintage gift shop, Indigo Moon, which stocks loads of gorgeous vintage and shabby chic items and her own art work. When she sells a piece of her art in the shop or at fairs she always puts her one of her own little handmade business cards in with it. She suggested I make some for my jewellery shop,as its cheaper to do,  and its a nice touch and makes it that little bit more special.

I didn't have a specific idea of what I wanted them to turn out like, I just sat down with some a bag of scrap fabric and a black fine liner and got creating.

Although they all look different to each other I still wanted them to reflect
my jewellery shop in someway, so I kept them sweet and pretty using butterflies, flowers and
scraps of the floral material I use in my jewellery.

I really like how they turned out I think they're pretty, they were so easy to do and fun to make!
I think it would be a nice way to make a birthday cards for someone special as well :)

The Porcelain Doll

So this is the post to announce the opening of my new little online shop The Porcelain Doll.
I never would have believed it if someone had told me last year 'you finally have an idea of what you want to do when you grow up this year!' never mind the fact that I would actually open my own online shop :)
That's one of the great things about blogging though is that it lets you see how far you have come.

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments on the last post and every single lovely and encouraging comment you have left for me in the last year since I started posting about my jewellery :)
If you are interested in having a look at the shop you can visit it
Or visit my new blog for it

(I'm not abandoning this blog, this is just a blog specifically for the shop and other jewellery type ramblings)

love and kisses
